Awesome lunch experience! We found it by accident, but are SO glad we did! Atmosphere is great! Food is even better! You must try their shrimp po boy-it's excellent!! Burgers are also mouthwatering! For dessert: pecan praline bread pudding and -of course- beignets cannot be missed!! Highly recommended!!

Did the Fontana tour past Sunday and wanted to eat in a local place, found Richard's close by. Very local stop, with a New Orleans art vibe. Had live music playing even at noon on a Sunday. Food was good but selection is very limited when going so early in the day. Just lunch / brunch menu no evening entrees... More

First time going so it was enjoyable with friends playing music. Food was average but they had a lot of selections. Waitress was very nice and might return again whenever friends play again.

Had a late lunch here NYE - food was great! We split a muffuletta (got the whole should have gotten the 1/2 -it was huge!), white bean chicken chili and the beignets - all were excellent. The pace is casual and laid back - don't stop if you're in a rush. Menu includes gumbo and jambalaya as well as gator... More

A great place to eat. It was our first night in Nashville after a long 9 hour drive. Richard's is casual, comfortable and delicious. We had a comfy table by the fireplace. The toasted French bread was amazing -- I could have made a meal of it! I had grilled shrimp and it was very good. Live, impromptu music added... More

Cajun food is not something I usually associate with the Nashville area, but this little restaurant is the real deal. I had the jamabalaya and my husband had the shrimp etouffee and they were both fantastic. We also had a cup of gumbo each and loved it. If I were going to complain, and I'm not, it would be that... In the adorable cross section of whites creek is this fun Cajun place. Really great musicians in talented and music rich Nashville -a great benefit! We tried lots of Cajun favorites including gator tail and beignets. A great lively crowd after 7 listening to live music and having fun! Enjoy!

The food was excellent. I had a muffaletta (1/2) and had to take half of it home. HUGE and great price. In retrospect, two of us should have split the half! The red beans and rice are EXCELLENT. They serve Abita Beer, truly a Louisiana treat. Ask about portion sizes before you order if you are in doubt. The only... More
