I know that when we travel to the Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg area, a top notched culinary experience isn't usually planned. We always try to stay with locally owned restaurants and locally sourced food makes it even better. After reading all of the 5 star reviews from...More

We had breakfast and dinner here and they were both outstanding. The Tenderloin was just that very tender and very very good I also loved the fresh picked veggies that went with it.

We used to stay at the Lodge on Buckberry Creek before last year's wildfire destroyed it. We stayed mostly because of the great meals we had on their deck whenever we were there. We tried the Dancing Bear this time and they took great care...More

This was an unexpected treat in area not well known for good vegetarian meals. One of the best we've ever had and definitely the best in Tn. Vegetables from their garden cooked beautifully.

Great place for a dinner, take friends, out of town company but be sure you go "Dutch". Can be pricey but it's worth a special occasion. Love the tea, the food and the atmosphere!!!

Dancing Bear Lodge's full-service restaurant, Dancing Bear Appalachian Bistro, is one of the finest Townsend, TN area restaurants. It offers casually elegant, regional cuisine. Enjoy simple fare from a menu that is refined, but not fussy. Family and friends gathering for a fun meal as well as couples seeking a romantic dinner for two surrounded by wooded views, are equally at home here.
