Dirty - Spider webs hanging from the ceiling, bugs on the bathroom floor, etc. Cold, chewy french fries, slow service. I've been to some decent A&W but this definitely isn't one of them.

I expect that a chain restaurant will probably never get 5 stars. When the meats all taste like the fries and vice versa, it's easy to give 3 stars. But hey the slaw is decent!

I thought that I would try the chicken and fries here in Madisonville. I was told that they were deep fried in separate fryers to prevent fish taste carryover. Both the chicken and fries were "fishy," and overly so. I won't make the same mistake again.

We do not have one in the NC area I live in, so it was a treat to get some good fish from Long John's
