Great place to grab a bite before the logjam that is Pigeon Forge. Had the open face roast beef, cheeseburgers and the Elk burger. Everything tasted great. Also, I recommend the potato salad (not mustard based). I recommend coming in before 6pm. They were already...More

Thank you for choosing to eat with us & your feedback. Not uncommon for us to sell our of the Chicken & Dumplin’s late but unusual on the corned beef. There’s no shortcut in anything you choose. Since the change to 3 lanes, really is...More

The food was very good. The kids loved the Mickey Mouse shaped pancakes. The price was very reasonable, and it was definitely good to go to a place that was not a typical chain restaurant.

Took my family here to eat, we walked in and was seated promptly. Once seated we waited a long time before the server came to our table. Once she came and took our drink order, she had a poor attitude. We could hardly place our...More

Sorry for all the problems, seems everything went wrong for you. Not what I heard all day at tables & register but mere mortals work here & things can happen-ie, cooks can overcook. Wondering what time of day, server and whether or not you said...More

We stopped in at The Diner so the kids could experience eating in this environment. We all had a good time. The spaghetti was on special and my daughter and i both ordered spaghetti, with salad and bread for only $7.19. It was tasty and...More

We went after the lunch hour but still waited a long time. Ordered 4 burgers, nothing fancy trying to keep things simple. It’s hard to mess up a burger, but stale bread is the fool proof way to do it. They tried to toast it...More

Sorry we were unexpectedly average for you. We sure hate to disappoint. Clearly, despite our sincere effort we will not please everyone. Of course, by definition, most of the world is average. As you may have noticed, the lunch hour was all afternoon this week...More

Our family of 7 enjoyed a great lunch. Selections included FGT(fried green tomato)-BLT, hot dogs, Philly cheesesteak, open-face roast beef, 2+2+2 breakfast. Everyone thought their food and drinks were excellent. Service was better than most restaurants. Highly recommend The Diner. All menu items available all...More

A super great place with super great staff! You get a lot of food with each meal. Very good food, friendly and warm atmosphere at both visits. A must visit when we return in 2018.

I didn't want to post a bad review because I've been here several times. We are local. But today went in with grandson. We ordered immediately and after 25 minutes I saw my waitress behind the counter and I walked over and asked about my food. She said sorry and ran to the back. She came with my burger and grandsons chicken tenders. The burger look dry. I told her id take grandsons good to go because we had an appointment elsewhere. Went register and waitress and cashier want to argue with me about the food just being put in the window. I have waited tables before and I know it sat for a good 15 minutes. Grandsons chicken was barely warm. Think it's funny because they took my money after ruining my lunch. So upset. I got there at 120 pm I left at 2. Order was turned in at 131, I seen this on ticket. Plus tables around me were getting their orders. The waitress should have taken responsibility and you might have saved a customer. Is this your practice ? Take money and run!
