We had dinner there and we thought it ended up very overrated. Don't plan on going back. The food was not that good, it was fairly expensive for a 'cheap eats' type place. Could of had a lot better meal for the same money or less.

Clearly we cannot respond directly to such a such a vague post not having any idea of what rbell ordered & ate or who, why. For over 13 years we have prospered & grown with an extensive menu so diners have plenty of options of quality food at what most believe is a fair price. Speaking regularly to hundreds of... More

Close to the Wilderness at the Smokies Resort. Much more reasonable than eating at the resort. Fifties style diner. Waitresses wear poodle skirts, but don't always seem happy to be there. Food is good and portions are filling.

Thanks for taking the time to post. We would hope that folks as blessed as we all are to be right here in the ETN, USA in this beautiful area with all this abundance & opportunity to serve would be happy. We think we are but this has been a somewhat difficult week for many, including us, our associates. It... More

This by far was one of the worst meals out my husband and I have eaten. I literally left and went and got something to else to eat. I had grilled chicken that was just that, grilled. No seasoning or marinade at all. It tasted like it was soaked in water and thrown on the grill. I had my husband... More

Sorry you were disappointed. No marinate true, but it is chargrilled, topped with Montreal Chicken seasoning. The fries are not salted on purpose as the majority want to cut down on salt these days. Salt to taste at the table or ask any of our staff who where handy for the Lowry's available. The greens are NOT from a can,... More

Thanks. We work hard at it to deliver as you observed, with no shortcuts in food quality. As burgers, etc are char-grilled fresh to your order a well done half pound burger takes a few but we're working to serve you as we want to be served. Again, thank YOU. More

Just had breakfast and the service and Greek omelet was excellent. The coffee was strong and very good. Our waitress was wonderful and very friendly. Indefinitely recommend this restaurant. The prices are extremely affordable. Lily

This was my first time in a diner since I lived in New Jersey. Brought back lotsa memories. Good selection. We had some breakfast dishes, a burger, and a catfish meal. My 'shroom burger with Swiss cheese was well cooked. Medium rare. Could have given me more fries, tho, which were pretty tasty. The cole slaw was a tad on... More

My family (6), ate at the diner this evening 11/16/16. We have eaten at several restaurants while vacationing in Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge. The Diner is the only one I would definitely want to go back to again. With a large family, it can be difficult to please everyone...not here. Our main dishes were delicious, the desserts were homemade and worth every... More

It has a nice interior. We were not impress with the food. The food is the basic. We had the special of the day which was hamburger steak with 2 sides. The hamburger steak was a small burger patty. The potatoes salad had sour cream in it: not an locate type. The cheese burger was ok, but could have got... More

Thanks, we always want direct honest feedback, at the table, the register or here. Isn't it great that we live in the greatest nation in the history of the world & are free to choose from so many great options vs places like North Korea, Argentina, Iran, Cuba, etc where there are none or where what we do is dictated.... The old'56 Pontiac in the photo was there...reminded me of my Dad's old car. Retro decor and the music is fantastic. Quick service, friendly smiles, "burger-joint" food to full meals are available and we've never had any complaints with The Diner in our dozen times visiting it. We'll be back!
