We went for breakfast. Very standard fare, nothing special. I figure breakfast is hard to mess up. We ordered French toast, eggs, bacon & sausage. EVERYTHING was room temperature. Not one thing was hot or warm. We will NOT go back!

I only give 5 stars for the truly exceptional. So, 4 starts is still an A. The only bad thing about this place is that it is not open at the end of the day when you come out of the National Park. The staff...More

We were looking for a good local place to get a salad and this place was recommended by the folks at Townsend Visitors Center. Great atmosphere, and good food. We had a nice conversation with our host, Roy. Will be visiting again.

A good friend in Los Angeles recommended Elvira’s for my visit to the Great Smoky Mountains. I located it on a map and thought, “hmm, it’s a little out of the way.” But after three nights of noisy chain restaurants in Gatlinburg, the drive was...More

First and LAST time I will eat here. As soon as she sat it in front of me, I noticed that there was a huge hair in my food and immediately told the server. She grabbed my plate, took it around the corner and then...More

I think most of the rentals are pet friendly. If you call or email the owner, he is very quick in replying back.

Description
Sometimes there's nothing better than relaxing to catch up and chow down with the people you love. At Elvira's Cafe, that's just the type of feeling we've been providing since we first opened our doors in 2012. Our cafe's menu is just about as fresh as it gets, featuring dishes made with premium, organic ingredients sourced directly from local farms. What that amounts to is lovingly prepared, home-cooked food that can be made any way you like it, regardless of dietary restrictions. Next time you're in the neighborhood, pay us a visit to enjoy a little southern hospitality and a whole lot of flavor!
