We stayed nearby at the Lowes Vanderbilt, so it was a short walk around the corner. Our experience was wonderful. The menu has several types of Naam Bread: we ordered 2 types: garlic and the other one had cashews, raisins and coconut in it! So yumnmy. We tried a green dish with chickpeas, a shrimp dish and a chicken one.... More

Sitar is one of my favorite Indian restaurants. However, this time, the food seemed excessively salty.

I love Indian food and the lunch buffet is good for quick and delicious food whether you are vegetarian or like to eat meat. The atmosphere, while busy can be a good respite from a busy day at the office or if you just want a quick fix of some naan bread and tiki masala.

Great buffet, reasonably priced. Mixed clientele! Great for business meeting. Buffet is also open on Saturdays! Convenient location to hop on and off the highway.

The food was not only dreadful(meat dry and tasteless) but the presentation was appalling. We probably should have walked straight out when the host virtually ignored us and threw the menus on to the table. As brits we are always impressed with the waiting staff in the states but we have never had such a bad experience, even in the... More

I had lunch with friends and we all really enjoyed our meal. Service was prompt and attentive. We skipped the lunch buffet (which looked good) and ordered off the menu. I had the lamb korma and it was very good. I can no longer eat spicy food (although I love it) so I ordered mine mild. It came with just... More

This is a "go to" place if you want a very good and reasonably priced Indian buffet for lunch. I haven't been there for dinner so don't know if it is menu only or buffet. Incredibly, they are open 365 days a year. If you like Indian food you will not be disappointed.

We were visiting Nashville over the Thanksgiving holiday and Sitar was open. It was great food (especially for me as a vegan) and the service staff was very attentive and friendly. Would love to go back if I have the change to make it to the city again.

Good food. Busy during lunch hr. Fresh because they have to constantly put new food out because of lunch crowd. Staff not very talkative but provide great service. Not a Southern " ya'll come back" atmosphere

We were a party of four. Two of us ordered non-veg dishes (Biryani and mutton curry) and two of us ordered gobhi manchuriyan and paneer masala. The paneer was in a weird red curry and tasted awful. The gobhi manchurian was very good. The mutton curry was also weird in taste. The biryani was mix veg in disguise. Not recommended,... More
