Loveless is truly a Nashville institution. While a bit "out of town" it should be a must see for locals and tourists. Biscuits are to die for. The location is on the historic Natchez Trace. The old restaurant and former motel are cool. Go if you can.

Many people and TripAdvisor said to eat here. We drive 24 mikes SE of Nashville to get here. Charming place. It is always very busy though. 1.5 hour wait for lunch on Presidents' Day. We ordered food 'to go' and sat at a picnic table outside. The fried chicken and sides and biscuits were great! If you have to wait... More

We always stop here on our way to Florida and back. Good food and a great atmosphere. Always busy so you might have to wait for a table, but well worth it. There are shops and gift stores to explore while you wait.

We stopped here on the way out of town returning home. The wait is worth it. There will be a wait of at least an hour or so, just be prepared. There are plenty of sights to see around the property, stores to shop at, and places to relax. Once seated, you can feel the history in this building. The... More

Six of us rode from Jackson Tennessee for lunch yesterday. We knew there would be a wait before we arrived. The hostess told us probably 45 minutes to an hour do we were pleasantly surprised that it was only 30 minutes. Most of the guys had omelettes which were huge. I had the daily special. Everything was delicious including the... More

Certainly a tourist stop, but enjoyed the breakfast. Biscuits were delicious. We had the chicken and waffles--very good--and the BBQ pork omelette--unusual, but good.

We visited the Loveless Cafe on Saturday, February 18th. The wait time was an hour-and-a-half which I understand to be normal. Our group had the fried pork chops, steak biscuits, chicken tenders and meatloaf. All were very good. Our favorite sides were the corn and greens. Of course, the biscuits were exceptional. The prices were very moderate. Great food and... More

An hour long wait on a rainy Sat. morn, but well worth it! Loved everything I tried, biscuits, jams, pancake, bacon, hashbrown casserole .... And the sausage gravy!! Yum!

The family stopped in for breakfast here this morning before hitting the road and were thrilled with both the food and the service. The best part of the meal is definitely the biscuits (that just keep coming) and homemade jams. The portion sizes are huge (my kids were not able to finish their pancakes) and the food was quite flavourful.... More

Pleasant and quaint little establishment. Tucked away in south Nashville is one of the most wonderful cafes. The biscuits at this place are perhaps the best I have ever had in my life. Make sure to get there early and be prepared for a little bit of a wait.

The Loveless Motel and Cafe first started serving its famous fried chicken and biscuits in 1951. A favorite spot to grab a good ole country breakfast for locals and tourists alike, today the Loveless Cafe serves more than 400,000 guests a year and makes between 4,000 to 7,000 biscuits a day, using founder Annie Loveless' original secret recipe. The Food Network awarded the Southern eatery with its best biscuits award in 2010.
