I used to come here and eat burgers with my dad when I was a little boy. It was nice to come back to Rotier's during my most recent visit to my hometown. I ordered what they're famous for: a cheeseburger on French bread with lettuce, tomato & onion. I got a side of mixed onion rings and french fries.... More

Go to Rotiers for the burgers and shakes! Burgers are always good and shakes are real ice cream and made to perfection!

Heard about this place from a friend that was a Vanderbilt Police officer, and said its the place to eat! It sure is awesome! The cheeseburger on a french bread roll is awesome! All the food has been great, making this a not to be missed stop on any Nashville Trip. Its def is a hole in the wall, but... More

This is probably one of the most underrated restaurants in Nashville. Try their signature French bread burger, homemade potato chips and a thick chocolate shake. You'll thank me.

CEO of our company who's daughter attends Vanderbilt suggested Rotier's. Great suggestion! I had a Cheeseburger on Wheat and order of their home made chips. Delicious! Friendly staff and the décor and atmosphere is really cool

Excellent place for lunch or for typical Nashville fare.....it get's really busy for lunch by locals, so if you're not in a hurry come a little after lunch, but if you have to go for lunch, go a bit early and if you have to wait....just wait and be late getting back...more than worth it.

My husband and I loved the food and it had a great old feel. I would recommend not getting a soda, because they give you a glass of ice and a 16.9oz bottle of coke, but the milkshakes are FANTASTIC!!!

But still great burgers. Got there early (lunchtime) and place wasn't crowded, but service took forever. Love the place, but service was lacking on this visit.

Stepping into Rotiers is a trip back in time. They have been in business since the 40's & same ownership. There hasn't been to many updates to the restaurant over the years but you feel right at home & many locals go there so much you here them being called out by first name when they enter the restaurant.
