Was really disappointed with dinner here. We were put in a squashy corner with barely enough lighting to read the menu. The menu was incredibly limited and obviously trying to be too fancy. Ordered the 350g Rump with chips and salad. The Rump would of been lucky to be 200g including it massive slab of fat that was about 1/3... More

On a recent visit to Warragul we went to the Courthouse based on the Big Spoon Little Spoon connection - It was a warm evening, and the restaurant was hot - we requested that the air con or fans be turned on - no luck. We then made our selection from the menu only to be told that two of... More

Gorgeous 130 year old Court House building located in main street with lovely ambience. We had a table for 12 to celebrate a birthday. We were given a room to ourselves. We had brought a cake and we told there was a cakeage fee or we could serve ourselves for free. Staff kindly put it in the fridge. They had... More

We have been to the courthouse a few times and must say that visiting on New Years eve we tried the lamb shoulder and it has been the best meal we have tried here. On New Years eve the service was fantastic, staff were very attentive and had knowledge of the food. This last weekend we dined and the service... More

This old court house has had a lovely makeover, and the courtyard is a great place for a pre-lunch or dinner drink, if the weather is good. The atmosphere changes inside due to the noise of diners and the operation of the open kitchen ...it has a real buzz, but the noise level was not too high. The staff were... More

Booked in a group of 5 for lunch and found it quite nice. Service was friendly and efficient, food was nice if not a bit overpriced. They could probably extend the menu a little but overall its not a bad place. I don't know how many dining options there are in Warragul but I wouldn't hesitate in going back again
