Met some friends for lunch. Fish and Chips OK but the Guiness Pie was very good. Sadly the Irish Stew was not available however I am sure it would be genuine. Drink of your choice included. Kilmore doesn't have a lot on offer so the Irish Pub is worth a go, tobe sure.

Recently changed hands, No long would I recommend this pub for dinner. While we were there two tables were vacated. One table, husband, wife and children left complaining about the meal...barely toughed and left on the table. Another party of 4 were not impressed with the atmosphere or the menu and decided to call a Pub in Wallan to move... More

Macs hotel is based on an Irish pub theme. The food is amazing and the staff are super friendly. Manny the owner is always willing to have a conversation with new & current customers. The beer garden out the back is a local secret and coming into summer will no doubt be the busiest place in Kilmore. They also have... More

We have been to this pub a few times now on the way through Kilmore, always very tasty and very friendly and professional staff, well worth popping in. We will be back next time we are in town

We stopped at MacNamara's Irish Pub on the way home to Melbourne. The service was pleasant, order at the bar arrangement. The food offering is average pub food that fulfilled its promise of a meal on the way home.

We belong to a group of people that dine together every week. Somebody decided that we would try MacNamaras as it was after all St Patrick's Day. The pub itself is very old but the family that had it made us feel so welcome even handing out wonderful hats with an Irish touch. On the day I wasn't that hungry... More

We don't like loud pubs but on a Sunday night Mac's was a good choice. It was cold outside but lovely and warm inside, the welcome friendly, the service good and the food tastey. Just right!

When you're standing outside of this place you can hear the laughter of locals and the appetising aroma coming from inside. The food is fairly priced and service was fast. It's very homely and welcoming. The food tastes like the amazing home made meals you have as a child. 10/10 would eat again.

We'd been here many times before, but this time was to celebrate Mum's birthday as well as getting the results of the ancestry DNA kit she sent off. Turns out we're more than 50% Irish, how fitting, rigjt? Explains a lot, too. I mean we'd already planned on coming here before we knew just how Irish we are and I... More
