Sensational cuisine at Darcys, the stone grilled mixed grill was divine, just loved his experience. Also enjoyed the Portuguese style lamb cutlets, as well as seafood entree of prawn tails and blue swimmer crab cakes. Outstanding, do not overlook. Diners also enjoyed watching kangaroos grazing on the lawn at dusk.

We decided to go for dinner at Darcy's after checking out the reviews here and since we stayed at Comfort Inn. The stone grilled beef was perfect. We were quite shocked to see the raw beef coming to us and didn't know what to do. The friendly waitress told us we could decide how we wanted to cook our beef.... More

Go for the beef and not marinated meats! Go for the original taste with no sauce. The porterhouse is good on its own. Add prawns if u like. No sauce recommended. Add salt and pepper if u like. The while chocolate and pecan pie is fantastic, remove the double cream (but it's a bad choice- moderate while u eat). Great... More

My wife and I dined at Darcy's in Halls Gap on a Friday night in March. We had booked a table, and were allocated an excellent window position with a view across the outside lawns where kangaroos come out of the bush to graze. The restaurant environment was quiet and pleasant. Several waitresses attended to us, and all of them... More

We had a very tasty, wunderful dinner there: steaks on a Hot Stone - for us a new twist, we really enjoyed it. You have the Hot Stone in front of you on your plate and you are your own 'Chef'. The quality of the meat was also excellent. The service was promt and very friendly. All in all: good... More

We ate here to experience the stone grill, which was excellent, but the menu more generally is also fine. They have some excellent desserts also. Service is good, better than the average in Halls Gap. The venue is comfortable and well appointed. Kangaroos are around - we saw some grazing just outside the restaurant window.

Service was good, food was ok. All of the guests were seated in a corner though the setting was nice.

This restuarant is attached to the Comfort Inn Hotel. Order must taken between 6-8pm. Saw a couple arrived after 8pm and the chef wouldn't take their order. Menu was varied and we both enjoyed our meal.
