Always meet my friends here and the food is good and not too pricey. I would recommend this place for couples, friends and get togethers. Get in quick for the parking though..

We visited on a Thursday lunch, having passed this place hundreds of time and never been enticed to visit due to its lack of "enticement" from the facade. However we ere pleased we did stop. Parking was easy, their greeting friendly and menu plentiful and reasonably priced My partner chose one of the specials, being the fish in soda batter...which... More

This is a gem of a restaurant tucked away in a cottage that has been renovated. In addition to the restaurant, there is a gorgeous outdoor area overlooking the Kananook Creek. Also very close to Frankston beach and within walking distance from Frankston railway station. This is a medium priced restaurant with very interesting menu. We enjoyed a magnificent cheese... More

I would thoroughly recommend the Boathouse. From a couple of wines outside enjoying the beautiful views to the excellent food. The service was very good, although there was a little delay in getting our food. The menu had lots of different choices which would cater for varying tastes, and being a vegetarian its great to have a choice. I really... More

A la Carte lunch on Valentines Day. Pork belly was sensational and blue cheese and walnut soufflé was tasty. Gorgeous environment and lovely service. Only negative was that the meal took an hour to serve and we didn't want to fill up with bread while waiting. Would love to go there on a sunny afternoon and sit outside.

Really enjoyed the food at the Boathouse, the menu had options for various eating styles, and as a vegetarian I was very happy to have a number of options. Some really interesting looking desserts were available too, but, as a smaller eater, no room sadly, next time I'll plan better to include dessert. Service a little slow, room cool and... More

We had dinner here the other night for my boyfriends mums birthday dinner. The place is relaxed and good view of the creek. Though, we won't offered drink for a while and our meals were lovely but the plates sat for ages after we had all finished. There was no check back on meals and we weren't offered a second... More

The restaurant backs onto Kananook Creek and has a lovely outlook. The meals and service were excellent and the menu was quite extensive. There is plenty of off street parking.

The setting outside on a warm sunny day is fanatic ,nicely shaded. However the food was not to my liking. The shared earth board was only fair the steak was better. The service was efficent and pleasant. A nice place for a romantic lunch or dinner if you are not too particular about the food ,perhaps my choice of food... More

Hi Arrowhead, thanks for your review, sorry you weren't happy with your Earth Board. Good news the menu will be changing in the next week or so as Summer comes to an end so I hope to see you back trying something different. Cheers Cam More
