We had planned to stop for morning coffee enroute to Melbourne but found this cafe closed. There’s a nice note on the door but Trip Advisor needs to be updated.

We popped in for afternoon tea & were the last customers before closing time of 3pm. Service was good, lemon & almond slice was served with cream on attractive plates & the hot drinks were generous in size.

My husband and I had the steak sandwich, it's the worst steak sandwich I've ever eaten. The steak itself was about 1mm thick, dry and tasted like cardboard, it had a tiny piece of bacon, hardly any salad leaves or dressing. Definitely not worth $20.
I do a lot of travel around country Victoria for work and the chilli scambled eggs was the best breakfast I have had outside of Melbourne and as good as any Melbourne cafe. Great coffee too!
