This restuarant is a hidden gem. As with Asian restuarants the decor is not fussy, but the food is great and not expensive. The fried spring rolls are delicious as are the curried prawns - our favourites. Serves beer but not wine, there is a bottle shop nearby. The staff are very friendly.

Have been going to this restaurant now for many years and it NEVER disappoints us. Consistently great food, great friendly service and all at a great price. They are also very happy to put candles on your birthday cake and sing Happy Birthday to you. Always gets a 5 star rating from my friends and family.

We rarely eat Vietnamese however friends suggested we eat here. We were pleasantly surprised, food was above average and service was good. Staff very friendly and always smiling! It's not a fancy place however we enjoyed the meal and experience.

Wonderful food, very fresh and great variety. All of the dishes we had were very good and reminded us of visiting Vietnam. Wine is very reasonably priced, as is everything and the whole place efficient and well run. Love the retro green vinyl chairs. Would definitely go again.

I have been dining at this restaurant for ever it feels like but it has been a few years since my last visit. The food is still very good but unfortunately the whole place needs to be brought into the current century. I had a nice experience but it felt like it was a bit outdated. I hope they can... More

We have been eating here for over 20 years and remember when you had to book a week in advance and the place buzzed. Still with the original family the menu has not changed. Service is friendly but the old spark has gone. Modern Vietnamese restaurants nearby have passed it by. However the food is quite good and reasonably priced... More

We hadn't been to Phuong's for a few years so it was lovely to return with a group of friends to find that the food is still super (love the sizzling beef), the service good and the prices very reasonable. It won't be as long till our next visit!

I liked coming to this place many years ago, however recently we went there again and we were disappointed. The problem is that the food now seems ta bit old school and boring compared to more modern takes on Vietnamese cuisine and they appear to have rested on their laurels. The quality is just not there any more. There seems... More

Catching up with friends for dinner on a Saturday night. This restaurant has been in Crows Nest we believe for over 20 years and was crowded. We ordered the #2 banquet for the four of us and were disappointed in a some of the dishes that were served as they had more of a Chinese leaning than Vietnamese. The service... More
