Stopped on the way back from Snowdonia and were pleasantly surprised. Friendly waitress, good lunch and delicious flat white. Cosy, relaxed atmosphere-thank you!

After an early start on our return home from Wales, we drove eastwards, towards Welshpool, along the scenic A458, fingers crossed that we'd find a nice place for a late breakfast. The first place we came to was Dyffryn Cafe and Restaurant - oh what...a delight! Wonderful friendly/covid-aware welcome, fresh flowers on the tables and lovely flowers in the spacious tarmac'd car park too. Our cooked "full" breakfasts were absolutely delicious, piping hot, looked great and very good value. There were a few other places we could have stopped in, a bit further on, (and they might be good too of course,) but the lovely staff at "Dyffryn" ticked every box - really, the perfect last memory of our great little break in Wales. Decor was good, inside and out, very clean, lovely toilets, a few chutneys and Welsh Christmas cards for sale too. Lovely views from our window table, across to the hills. I cannot speak too highly of Dyffryn Cafe - for sure, we'll call in again when we next visit this terrific part of Wales. Thanks guys!More

Been here a few times when visiting Wales and have often made trips from home just to visit and have some lunch. Lovely place, service is great and food is always lovely and really good sized portions. Cafe has a very good sized car park...but can get busy during peak holidays and weekends but never had an issue getting a table. Visited twice during COVID and the cafe is always cleaned to a high standard. Always a firm favourite to visit and will have many more visits in the future.More

A while since we've been to this cafe, but once again it did not disappoint. Ultimate safety taken by staff etc towards the Covid 19. As before the food is superb and served by exceptionally nice polite staff who cannot do enough for you. As...stated before, if only every Cafe was like this. We will return very soonMore

We were fortunate to find a table for Sunday lunch spontaneously, an attractive looking place we stumbled on. The service was outstanding, as was the food. Good attention to C-19 concerns. Highly recommend.

Horrible experience anywhere during this pandemic. Living reasonably locally (14 miles away). This being the reason we had never eaten there before. The whole experience was very positive. The staff could not be bettered, hygiene, faultless. Food would not disappoint. Will I go back... 100%...YesMore
