Warm welcome, excellent food, they made you feel welcome and wanted, nothing was too much trouble. Would recommend a visit. Lovely village pub and area.

A traditional Welsh family run pub. Very welcoming and a good find. We only used the pub as a quick refreshment pit stop during a long journey and it was ideal. They have a well kept beer garden with seating beside a typical Welsh river. We just missed the Sunday Lunch as we arrived late but others seemed to be... More

I had a reasonably priced steak sandwich, it was served with peppercorn sauce which I was not sure about on a roll but worked perfectly. I love creme brûlée & I have tried many, this was the best I have had in a long time.

Good variety menu, good prices and friendly, relaxed atmosphere. Worth booking, as popular with locals as well as visitors to area.

This is a gem of a restaurant with accompanying guest rooms in a separate place. Food is wonderful, service top notch.

This is a regular venue for us when visiting the area. On this occasion we went for dinner twice and lunch once. Very friendly and I still as other reviews have noted. A very decent fixed price menu and all the portions are huge. We loved the sharing Fishermans Platter. The staff were friendly and service good. Excellent quality of... More

We ate here as it's the associated restaurant to Llety Brynawel – the guest house owned by the same owners, Glyn and Corina. To be honest, I found it confusing having looked on here and seen different properties with different names (this is also called Riverside, and the guesthouse used to be called The Escape). No need for confusion – the... More

This place had been recommended to us so we booked a table in advance for Sunday lunch,on the way to Aberdovey where we were staying for a couple of nights. What a good choice this turned out to be....there was a lovely atmosphere in the place and the service was top notch. We both had excellent starters and then the... More

We were on our way to Fishguard and wanted to stop mid way to stretch our legs, including our little puppy. After our walk we asked if we could take Pixie into the pub/restaurant and they said that was fine. We found a table that we were happy with (but not the best in house) and ordered food and drink....
