This is by far the most welcoming pub I have ever entered, they are so kind. The food is outstanding with a wide variety of it, but Sunday I believe is the best time to go with their famous roast dinner that is well know across town. I would not hesitate to come back again.

Lovely little pub that allows dogs. The menu for meat eaters looked great but their vegetarian option was awful so we decided not to eat here. Drinks were nice & of ok price. Would pop in for a drink if in the area again

didn't eat here but the cask ale was the best in the area. Pub had a good atmosphere and Elvis did a great job entertaining. The resteraunt was busy and people spoke highly of the food.

Found this by chance whilst holidaying in the area, and it allows dogs in too. Meals were reasonably priced and good quality.Would recommend to anyone visiting the area.

We were taking friends out to dinner and as we had two dogs with us, we sat in the lounge bar. The owner made us feel really welcome. We all had different meals e.g. Lamb Shank, Gammon Steak, Chicken Balti and Beef and Mushroom Stroganoff. Each meal had lots of fresh vegetables appropriate to the dish. We all thorough enjoyed... The restaurant adjacent to the bar was not crowded since most of the patrons were drinking and singing with the disk jockey. The service was very good and I had the Yorkshire Pudding and a chicken dish. The breakfast was well prepared and served on time. I recommend the place except for a festival weekend.

I have visited this restaurant on several occasions and have never been disappointed. The only difficulty is deciding what to order. I am steadily making my way through the menu. The staff are most courteous and friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Looking forward to my next visit .

We ate here on two evenings whilst staying in the area. The food was superb - and very reasonable. The fish and chips and the lamb shanks were particularly good. Staff were welcoming and friendly - which made for a VERY enjoyable time - helped by the arrival of a customer with her huge eagle owl!! We would recommend absolutely
