Needed a quick breakfast and this fitted the bill... nothing fancy and was fine and good value. Coffee wasn't bad and the smoked salmon and cream cheese bagel was ok too.

Stayed at the Castle Hotel (Weatherspoons) on the square All good in the room, clean & new decor and a massive comfy bed Food is what you would expect, reasonably priced hot and served quickly with loads of choice. The pub itself was fantastic and staff eager to help Reason for not giving it a 5 rating was due to... More

We went to the Castle Hotel which is a Weatherspoons. It's a lovely building and got a few little rooms at the front where you can eat also if you can as gets busy ! Great menu, we had come here for lunch as we were staying at Ruthin Castle which was a 5 mins walk away. Food was lovely... More

was staying at the hotel and decided to have dinner and breakfast here, its easy and cheap! More than impressed with the layout, quirky little rooms and snugs, rather then the usual open plan layout than most Wetherspoons seem to adopt. We loved the old character building and it gave a nice atmosphere, so glad we stayed in! had the... More

Visited yesterday for drinks. Very nice place, in fact one of the nicest Weatherspoons I've been to. Good value for money, lots of local information on the walls. May stop here next time we come to Ruthin

I come here quite a lot to have drinks and food with friends. The staff are nice, the food is really nice (and cheap) and the alcohol is cheap as well so all rounder. Only thing that would improve it is getting a license to play music.

Called in for a drink and a snack. Good, basic food at a cheap price. Pleasant staff. Car parking difficult.

A stunning building in a beautiful town, and a very pleasant large well equipped bedroom. The usual Wetherspoon's quality meals. Just a pity that none of the staff seemed to have any time for the customers.

My wife and I along with 2 other couples, stayed here on the 12 November 2016. We had booked 3 rooms together. When we arrived we were shown to 3 rooms together, however, the room we were given the key to, was occupied, lovely big room but we were not very keen on sharing. I had to go down to... More

Stopped off here for a mid afternoon snack and ordered a couple of drinks and toasted sandwiches. Wow very tasty and came with hand cut chips even better the prices were so cheap. Served by friendly staff although the place was busy there were plenty of empty tables as this is a large establishment. Would definitely recommend trying this place... More
