This was our second visit to Pili Palas and on both occasions we have left happy customers. All the cakes are homemade on the premises and are absolutely delicious. The Welsh Tea Cakes are a must! Super friendly staff also must be said. Keep up the good work and we'll see you next year.

We found this restaurant on a day trip to Pwllheli and just popped in for a cup of tea ending up enjoying lunch and some fantastic cream scones as a dessert. The staff could not have been more friendly and the food was home made, excellent quality and good value. We felt really at home in the comfortable chairs by... More

We stumbled on this place by accident on a freezing cold February afternoon for Bara Brith and scones - they were fantastic. Really lovely lady and ambience. Would definitely recommend.

We've passed this cafe numerous times, and always ended up stopping for coffee elsewhere. Finally, we got brave and went inside... It was quiet (post-lunchtime, and all food is off the menu by then), so we settled for a sofa near the log-burning stove - which was crackling a warm greeting on a near-freezing February afternoon- and requested coffee and... First time here and was not disappointed. Service was friendly and professional. The food was good potion size, fresh and tasty. Ambience comfort and relaxed. Well worth a visit for a quick cuppa and snack or a good hearty lunch and dessert.

Very friendly service and good for sandwiches and snacks. Busy so might be hard to get a table at peak times. Food was very tasty and took a lovely cheese scone home with me. Well used by local people

Perhsps i should have stuck with ciabatta, house usual fare, but on the daily special board at £6:95 (about £2 above ciabattas) was battered cod fillet, chips and peas. Chips and peas ewere ok but the fish was exactly the same shape and dimensions of my partners. Closer examination suggested more than strongly that this was not fresh cod fillet... More
