Went here with five friends on Saturday night. We had booked a table as it's a busy wee place. Service was friendly and the atmosphere relaxed. Menu choice was good and so was the prices. Definitely recommend and I would definitely go back if I...More

We wanted to go here but when we tried to book they were already full and we'd run out of time! Disappointed as the menu looks good and obviously is because it is so popular so BOOK IN ADVANCE.

We visited on Friday night, early evening. We called to make sure they had room for us due to the good reviews. I'm glad we did as the restaurant is small and very busy, also we had a pram. We were made to feel welcome....More

Booked this restaurant before our arrival in Abersoch for a weeks holiday, after reading tripadvisor reviews. Delighted that we booked - place was full with holidaymakers AND locals (always a very good sign) - and we had been told by our accommodation owner on arrival...More

Nothing special about the food, far from authentic and anglicised. Large portions but bland and poor value. Our evening was adversely affected by a group of "blokes" at the adjacent table who thought it was acceptable to shout and swear f'ing this and s**t that...More

A great selection of starters and mains using local lamb and seafood served Thai style. Nicely presented and good portion sizes. The crispy fried sea bream (Pla Ga Dod) was spectacular! A busy little restaurant but still retains a chilled out atmosphere and the staff...More

Told by friends to eat here and have to say looks nothing from outside, but once inside the food is great. We shared the Meeang Pla starter which was litle cubes of sea bream deep with a crispy skin in a lettuce leaf with spicy...More

Description
The Coconut Kitchen, located in the village of Abersoch in Wales, is renowned for its fresh, aromatic Thai cuisine. The dining room at The Coconut Kitchen - decorated with Oriental lamps and dark wooden furniture overlooks the harbour and has a warm, intimate vibe perfect for cosy dining, and the restaurant is a popular place for dates, nights out with friends and dinner parties. We love the innovative menu, and popular dishes include the char-grilled coriander sirloin steak with a garlic and chilli sauce served with stir-fried greens and sweet potato crisps; the King Prawn Panang Curry cooked in a creamy red curry sauce with lime leaves and Thai sweet basil; and the delicious lemongrass and ginger crme brulee.
