Half the beer pumps are empty not enough staff it's 5/6 degrees to cold most of the time as they have some sort of blower system that has a mind of it's own. The gents toilets are awash most of the day. The prices are good but not good enough won't be rushing back.

dear Mr Campbell, thank you for your comments I am always ready to listen to reflections on my pub. we do sometimes experience issues with our air con however the majority of the time it works ok, like any other piece of equipment. Referring to the ales, we try and keep a selection of 7 on Sunday to Thursday and... More

This place is excellent for a good British breakfast and alternatives or even just toast and preserve. Nice latte and tea. Breakfasts start at around £4-00 for two drinks and two toasts can't beat that for value.

Always end up here when coming back home to Mold as you know that you will bump into friends. Drinks prices are cheap compared to the other offerings within the town. And there's always a much better atmosphere. Only suggestion would be that they need to find a way to get more seating available. On a Saturday night, there's absolutely... More

Yes its NYE and a busy morning but the staff were rude and even a tad argumentative when I had to return something. I fear that this visit will be my first and last One to avoid if your in the area I think. Better smaller venues around

Cold lamb cawl. Triple chicken meal came without the sauces which we were eventually told we should have ordered at the bar (even though it's been included automatically when we've ordered at other Wetherspoons..) chicken was burnt and cold - quite a feat!! Never been let down by a spoons before but there's a first time for everything. Avoid this... More

Got there at 7.00pm, ordered glass of wine and a Guiness. Was told by the barman the Guiness would not be long as he left it to stand. Barman then went off, took a family's order and forgot about the Guiness. My husband finally got his Guiness at 7.20pm after having to ask for it. We sat down and as... More

Absolutely disgusted with my food this evening , food was cold and burnt! Asked for mushy peas got garden peas instead, doesn't matter how busy it gets food should still be good! , I always go to weatherspoons and never been disappointed but the gold cape was such a disappointment! First and last time I'll be coming here.

I was hoping to be able to improve the rating I gave a few months back but sadly no. The place is perennially under-staffed and the food is below average even for Wetherspoons standard. I'll continue to work with grab the occasional drink here but would rather eat elsewhere.
