Pleasant staff who are friendly , there's a good range of food with a lot more choice for vegetarians. ok it's typical pub grub but it makes a change to have battered halumi and sweet potatoes fries. Prices are quite good as well . lots of room with plenty of tables and appears to cater for families with small children... More

The bar man was friendly (sorry I can't remember his name but he used to work at Pontins). Never been before so had no idea how the place worked. Spotted a waitress and asked her. Found an empty table but it wasn't clean and was covered in vinegar. Found a waitress to clean it for us. Ordered food and drinks.... More

Visited this pub at lunch time earlier today, with friends. Where I had sausage and mash for dinner. The food and service where excellent. My friends also enjoyed their meals, which where steak pie and chips, fish and chips. The gravy with my meal was also delicious.

Walked in on a sunny sunday afternoon - our first visit. We ordered our food and drinks at the bar to be told to sit down and the drinks would be brought over, saw the waitress wonder about and then went outside for a cigarette break, when she came back in I went up to ask for our drinks and... We spoke about this during your visit but just to update on the lettuce... when I checked it after you had left it had wilted in the wrap with the warmth of the chicken. When we enquirer where our food was she barked at us it was being played. When we stood at the bar for a second time two hours later to ask where the food was she walked... More
