Fast service, huge portions of Schweinshaxe. It is amazing with its crispy grilled skin. Go inside where is not so crowded and air conditioned.

I love most German foods, and lots of German beers! So, with great anticipation a visit to the Schweinehaus was accomplished. Bah!! Ugh! Nothing German-like on the menu. Closest thing was probably a hot dog. No German beer, either. Geeze Louise! What a disappointment.

The food here is pretty good but I would not call it German style. They do have a good beer selection and the nearby entertainment district is fun.

The restaurant staff were fairly friendly but it was a noisy place, not at all god for date night. Seating is at picnic tables with other parties. The food was so-so, or perhaps not even that good. Beer-cheese soup was too salty, salad greens were...More
