We ordered the Memphis Platter (between two people). It was tasty and can't fault the food or the service. A little on the expensive side, but the atmosphere and decor was good and I suppose you pay extra for the location being Beale Street.

We stopped in here daily for the week we spent in Memphis. Bartenders mad the experience for us here. There is so much to look at in the restaurant and bar area here. Guitars line the roof and memorabilia covers the wall. The drinks were good and priced fairly. We highly recommend a stop here.

Went on a Friday night in March and although I imagine it being a lot busier in he summer we got a great experience of the real Beale Street music scene. Plenty of space in the bar, lots of beer to choose from and a nice venue to soak up the atmosphere. Freeworld were playing and they were fantastic. Really... More

We ordered food. The guy behind the bar snatched my card out of my hand. He barely made eye contact with me. The food tasted good, but 8 hours later I woke up with pains and cramps, cold sweats and was vomiting for 30 minutes. It was the only thing I had eaten that day.

I really like this place. I've eaten there a time or two. I cook Cajun food, so I'm picky and it's alright, just mine is way better. I go eat in places that doesn't serve what I cook at home. The music is really good usually but if it's slow, go through the door on the west side, the two... More

My first experience with red beans and rice was here at Rum Boogie almost twenty years ago. Add in the wonderful sweet corn bread and you have a perfect combination. Been to New Orleans and could not find n equal to the Rum Boogie recipe. Great music atmosphere on historic Beale Street. Can't go wrong.

The service was not as bad as the food. Overall not a good experience. I guess the food may have been better had we been drinking more

Great food in this funky fun bar. Room to dance, happy crowd. Decent selection of beer, but go elsewhere if you are looking for an extensive selection of microbrews.
