I’ve visited Rum Boogie Cafe on Friday night, perhaps a bit too early to get the right vibe. Live music was good, not so much service. Had to go and get a beer myself after 15 minutes of “not being noticed”. Beer was a bit...More

Great food! The dry rub ribs were Smokey tender goodness! The fried okra was so tastey. Great atmosphere, friendly staff, and fast accurate service. Would definitely go again.

Iconic music club/bar with masses of memorabilia hanging from the ceiling and on the walls. Wait staff attentive and pleasant.

This was my favorite joint on Beale Street in Memphis. The bartender knows how to mix his rums and the flavor was excellent. I had the pork nachos (appetizer) which were tasty and more than I could eat. I highly recommend the Rum Boogie Cafe

Most people come to the Rum Boogie for the music, and I am no exception. It was a very busy night on the street and this is the most popular spot on Beale. They have seating on the first and second floors, with limited seating...More

A quick bite to eat. I ordered fried catfish, Mac & cheese, and cooked cabbage. Service was quick, food was hot and tasty! Price was excellent; good value. While waiting I took a few picture of the many guitars and memorabilia. My hubby had a...More

Great music, and good drinks too. There was a cover charge of $5-, no big deal because the atmosphere was great and music was some of the best I heard on Beale Street. The band we heard was more of a rock 'n roll band...More

Attached to the Blues Hall Juke Joint (they likely will each have a separate live band), this bar has a classic bar room and a room with tables where the performers are. The rooms are dark and smoky (they still allow smoking inside) but the...More

We came in early afternoon before a show. The place is aged, not the cleanest. I ordered the hot smoked wings. They were exceptional. The beer selection is not the best.

Probably a better place to just drink and listen to music, but we tried the food too. Arrived before the music started and were able to get through most of the meal before it was too loud to have a conversation with my co-workers. Food...More

Of all the clubs and bars on Beale Street, Rum Boogie Cafe is the one not to miss. If their superfine rum selection and beer aren't enough to entice you, the Cajun and barbecue menu should-ribs, fried catfish, gumbo and red beans and rice served by fast and friendly servers. Live Music 7 days a week 365 days a year!
