We stopped in on a not-too-busy Thursday afternoon to check out the supposedly highly rated BBQ. The place is historic and somewhat ramshackle, with lopsided floors and less than enjoyable atmosphere, but it was old Memphis, so we were cool with that. Service was good and no complaints there. We ordered a Regular Rack (4 bone-in ribs for $12.95, sides... More

Good pulled pork went on advise of my computer worker good service was a little less than I expected since there was only 6 people in place. But overall fries Bbq and all was good. Bbq dispensers were nasty need to be wiped off to get rid of sticky outside. Had to clean out spout of spicy just to get... More

These ribs are so delicious. They have a rub on them that is perfectly seasoned. These are not smothered in sauce. The taste is so juicy and the rib meat comes right off the bone. The reason I say they are the best in town, even BB Kings did not compare. I will be posting a review on them also.... More

We dove in there Saturday night for a snack and had so much fun talking with one of the workers! He was absolutely a hoot! The food was awesome and I loved the spicy bbq sauce!

While in Memphis, we really wanted to experience their renowned BBQ. We stopped into "Pig" for lunch one day, anxiously awaiting the taste. We were treated by a less than enthusiastic waitress. After scanning the menu, I asked what their most popular dish was. She quickly replied "ribs". So, my wife ordered ribs and I ordered the spicy legs, which... More

This place is not Fine Dining, but sometimes you just want good food. This food is a true barbeque spot with great barbeque. I always bring back 5 or more bottles of their sauce. If you like down home cooked barbeque, this is the place.

If you want atmosphere and a fine dining experience, this is not the place. If you want great food and a good value, then you must stop here. Everything we ate was very good, from the pulled pork, to the ribs and even the smoked chicken. The sides while typical, Cole slaw, potato salad...all good. I was not a fan... More

The meat was good but their bbq sauce was terrible. Not sure if they tried to make it homemade but it was bad. It's not a great atmosphere. Pretty dingy and my husband was hesitant to eat there. I would not go back personally.
