Pretty consistent ribs for Beale street. The 5th time we went here was during NCAA and the ribs were overdone. They gladly gave us another portion which was also overdone, chewy. Have been once or twice since and they were back to their expected tender...More

My friends and I came here for dinner on our first day in Memphis. Wonderful greeting, seated immediately, and the servers hustling around is I sure hope so almost a show in itself. Music playing and great setting...rustic, down home barbeque place. Overall wonderful staff....More

Between the four of us we had sirloin steak, ribs, catfish, tamales and the meat & cheese platter. The platter was awesome as was the catfish. The ribs were just ok - luke warm and not much flavor. Server worked her behind off!

We had the combo with ribs and catfish and it was cooked to perfection! We sat in the area adjacent to the band and the evening couldn’t have been more perfect. Our waitress, Rachel, was attentive and precious.

As this was a quick trip to Memphis, we needed to get a taste of the local BBQ and music vibe. Great half rack of ribs, fried catfish, and stuffed mushrooms. Family loved the sizzling hot apple dumpling.

Ribs were flavorful, but not properly prepared. They still had the membrane on the back and you could not pick up a rib without all the meat falling off the bone, literally. Service was slower but that was due to the place being busier. The...More
