My husband and I recently visited Memphis and this was definitely one of my favorite spots. It is very interesting and has a lot of history, unchanged inside. The soul burger was amazing and the bartender, Leanne was vey friendly and knowledgeable about the building...More

This place is the same as it has been many years ago. Even the bartender is there since 1992. Very old, but so interesting to experience. The only thing on the menu is the soul burger, which was good, but don't expect anything out of...More

Great bar that was all decked out for Halloween! Lots of different rooms to explore and several bars to get drinks from. We had a blast!

Always good music live or on the box. The soul burger, the only food, is dive bar perfect. Learn the history of this location and the visit becomes even better. See the rooms upstairs to verify your history lesson.

We went there initially because of the rumored hauntings. We were there early before the bar really got going and got a tour of the upper rooms that are still just as they were and very neat. Ray Charles played there. And no, we didn't...More

Our host said we should check out this Queen of the dive bars. Glad we did. It certainly was a dump, but a charming dump that serves delicious burgers. The bartender on duty was anenergetic, young lady who was wonderful and friendly. If you like...More

We were there Halloween eve. The place was dead. 4 people total. I couldn't wait to taste the soul burgers that I had read so much about. I couldn't eat it. Took two bites. Undercooked, processed patty, hard onions...tasteless. The only thing I can say...More
