Walking in, we realized we truly entered authentic, historic Memphis. We were the minority tourists among all locals. Fried Chicken was freshly fried, and good. Corn nuggets were good especially with the delicious Ranch Dressing. Slaw was good. A great experience!

We brought a large (60+) out-of-state school group here. We filled the place, but the staff were amazing which made our experience wonderful. The food was excellent and the staff were extremely accommodating and friendly and gracious. I can't say enough about our experience here....More

we were looking for a local fried chicken place and happened to find Uncle Lou's. Small restaurant in a strip mall, but so happy we stopped. The staff was friendly and helpful with what to order. The chicken was excellent!
