A very old fashioned place along Beale, nothing fancy or expensive. You are there for one thing: a greasy burger. Mine was really good. Stopped in early December at a quiet time of day, and had good service.

Well, I would give this place a miss. Despite there only being one other table of guests and six staff, the customer service was almost non existent. Our waitress could not have cared less. My double burger order came out as only a single burger,...More

Nice sized burgers, not too much for a double cheese if you're hungry. French fries were like you would make at home with fresh potatoes! We loved Neisha, she was so funny! Soda shop atmosphere, you have to walk a ways to get there because...More

Do yourself a favor and don't bother because the staff won't. The food is less than great and that's if you can even get it. When we were there the staff couldn't be troubled to bring us a menu, take and order, or then even...More

After seeing a feature on this restaurant on a food tv channel, we just had to stop by and sample the burgers. The 100+ year old grease story got us hooked, plus we’d never had a burger that was deep fried. There was plenty of...More

Went in for lunch on impulse while walking around Beale Street and really glad we did! I didn't research beforehand so we knew nothing of them going in. The burgers were amazing and the fries were great too! Quick service and waitress was extremely friendly...More

2 nights in Memphis. This place was a bucket list stop. The century old oil was intriguing. The burgers were awesome. A very different take on a burger. They were delicious. The fries and rings were amazing too!

And it did not disappoint. Not a very high class place BUT the burgers are something like you've never had. After floating a a vat of grease, you may be assured they are a bit messy. I had a double burger with no cheese (a...More
