Just around the corner from the National Civil Rights Museum. This is quite a nice little place. We had lattes which were excellent. We were charged $8.50 for 2 small ones to drink in, which I thought was a bit expensive. Free wifi.

Has a large selection of coffees teas and pretty much any specialty drink you can think of. Fresh made pastries, bagels, breads and cookies.. seating is ok just your usual coffee nook. Staff is friendly and helpful, prices are equal to your Starbucks like menu/pricing. Will definitely be back'

Crowded, but appropriately so for a place in a primo location. Felt like a taste of a real neighborhood.

My husband and I were looking for coffee spots, and found Bluff City. It is in an old sort of free standing building just a block or so from the Civil Rights Museum. The walls are exposed brick and there are comfortable tables and lounging chairs to sit or eat at. The display case was filled with fresh cookies, muffins,... More

I stepped into Bluff City Coffee after touring the National Civil Rights Museum and found delicious coffee and great sandwiches. I ordered a grilled cheese and an Americano -- fantastic! The baked goods and cakes are beautiful and taste great too. Highly recommended for people looking for a coffee fix in Memphis.

We came out of the NCRM ready to eat and recharge our batteries. The selection of quiches/sandwiches/bagels/cakes /coffees for a small eatery was impressive. The black and white photos that adorn the walls speak to the history of the area. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Try the orange olive oil cake , a delight with flat white. Would come again.

We made a quick stop into Bluff City for coffee and road snacks as we traveled through Menphis, choosing this based on others recommendations. We're adding our own recommendation now! The espresso was made very well and our pastries were excellent! Worth your stop!

This is the best breakfast and coffee that we've ever had on vacation. The cappuccino was amazing & delicious! The breakfast sandwiches with the biscuit was to die for. We would definitely recommend to anyone who wants an awesome breakfast in a really cool, restored shop!

Good tea, good coffee, good grilled cheese sandwiches. Lots of variety on the menu, and lots of bakery items too. Of the eating places near the Civil Rights Museum, this looked to be by far the best option, and we're glad we tried it.

This is a nice coffee shop with friendly servers, good food and good coffee. It is a bit on the shabby side which gives it character. But it really could be cleaner. The tables all needed to be wiped down (when did that become the customer’s job?) The bathroom was a mess. Floors and other surfaces are broken down so... More
