We celebrated our 33 anniversary here. The food is always tasty, and the atmosphere is fantastic with the live music. This restaurant is loaded with character, and the service is always good. The wedge salad is the best as well as the bread pudding! convenient location as well. Can't wait to return

From the moment I walked upstairs into this welcoming and elegant restaurant I knew the evening would be enjoyable and it was. The staff were very welcoming, the menu varied enough and the wine list prices not too silly.

We enjoyed our visit to Itta Bena. We started with the fried avocado appetizer. Give it a try as it was delicious and very inventive. I had the lamb chops with parm risotto. Very tasty. The lamb was very tender and the risotto was perfect. My husband had red snapper on a Andouille hash. He loved it. It was our... More

A very enjoyable early evening meal. The food was good without being exceptional. The wine a pinot noir at $74 was very very good if a bit expensive. The music was super. Overall this was a really good experience which we enjoyed. We booked through trip advisor and very few times / tables were available yet there were many free... More

Itta Bena had come recommended as one of the city’s best restaurants. It’d also come with the warning that it wasn’t easy to fnd. It isn’t – it’s up an unmarked fire escape at the back of B B King’s Blues Club. It’s an interesting room – much of the woodwork has been expensively distressed. The careful use of booths... More

Bring your appetite and your wallet. Good luck finding the entrance to this dining room over BBKings. Once you do find it, you'll feel like you are in a private club. The sommelier will spend a lot of time with you (with a heavy handed up sell). But he needs to up the game on the wine list. Waiters are... More

The best thing we had was the fired avocado with crab meat - it was fantastic. Also had the crab cakes that were good, but the mustard sauces was not our favorite. The grilled duck and cheese was really good as were the fired green tomatoes. The drinks were well mixed. Service was on point!

We were back again with out of town friends. We had a great meal, great service and great atmosphere. Our friends really enjoyed the entire evening. We stopped first at BB King's and listened to a bit of music. Then we headed upstairs and through the exit door to the restaurant. It almost feels like entering a speak-easy. Another way... More

The food was average at best. Nothing memorable. The duck in the grilled cheese appetizer and in the duck and waffles was super dry and not flavorful at all. Steak were done according to order. Wine list is not impressive. The ambiance was amazing.
