A group of us ride here from Edinburgh about every other month. It's a bit of a trek but when you know what's in store it makes it all worthwhile. The warmest of welcomes and the best coffee and food makes you forget the cold and rain. Try the avocado and poached egg on test - simply outstanding.

My son had visited this lovely cafe previously and how right he was to insist on going again. From the slightly wacky décor to the friendly service and the amazing food and drinks everything was spot on. We all enjoyed the warming and original soups and the sandwiches were generous and beautifully served. We'll certainly call again next time we're... More

A great little cafe with nice menu. Enjoyed lovely tea and coffee there, with scones, jam etc. They also do great cakes. Has a traditional feel to the place, which can get very busy at times. On sunny days it is also nice to sit outside. Recommend as a cafe and also as a place to meet up with your... More

Love this place. Scones are great, service and hospitality just right. Well worth going. Prices can be a little steep, but worth it for the atmosphere.

While en route to St Andrews, we stopped in Dollar as that's where I lived for 13 years and went to school at the Academy. It was around lunchtime, so we parked on the main street and saw this cafe. What a lovely find it proved to be. After delicious home made soup and bread, we indulged in some home... More

This is a hidden gem in dollar, lovely friendly and slightly strange cute little corner just off the main road. We sampled coffees and a generous slice of victoria sponge. The cake itself was just delicious and truly homemade. the staff was so nice it make you feel at home. the lunches looked very tasty too... if you happen to... More

It's such a nice cosy place to have a coffee in, all the staff are really friendly and attentive! The cakes they sell that are made by the owner herself are amazing! I do however think it is unfair that the school kids are not allowed to sit down at lunch time especially in winter when it's cold even though... More

We popped in here (myself, my mum, my two best friends and my fiance) after visiting the wedding dress shop a couple of doors down. Still buzzing with excitement, we came in and were immediately greeted and shown to a table. Despite the place being full of cyclists, it still felt cosy and relaxed. We ordered drinks (myself having a... More

We had walked from Tillicoultry and the superb tea and cake was very welcome. Loads of tea in a big teapot, delicious cake, reasonable prices, as a bonus the tea cups are the old fashioned kind your mum had, you almost feel you have to raise your pinkie when drinking. Service prompt and jolly.
