We went to the Green Welly Stop for breakfast a number of times during our stay in Tyndrum, the service and food are very good. The shops attached to the restaurant are fun to look around, and we’ll stocked with gifts and walking accessories, and...you can even put a self service wash on while you are eating. 😃 Make sure you make this a “Stop” on your next vacation.More

We always drive up to Fort William from Devon overnight and for years the Green Welly shop cafe has been a lifesaver at 7.30 am for coffee and a bacon butty. Really sad this year to find that the cafe is now not open 🥲...Having said that, the 2 members of staff on duty on Wednesday 15th Sept went above and beyond in helping point out where we could still access coffee and something to eat by showing me the places in the shop to find this. The chap on the till was so polite and friendly and helpful as well. All this positive attitude at 7.30 in the morning when my fiend and I were badly flagging! I still continue to think of this little stop off as a lifesaver to the hungry and thirsty and tired traveller. Highly recommended.More

Stopped there on the way South in my truck , and was surprised to find, a spotless shower, and toilet, and even free overnight parking for the truck, which is amazing in itself. Only wee bit of dissapointment was there was no hot pies left...in the shop at 6.20pmMore

Just as it happened we required to be in Glasgow on 3 occasions in August, and on each visit we stopped at the Green Welly for Lunch / Brunch. Fantastic choices and decent prices, this place gets better every year. Spotless restaurant and toilets, considering...the amount of people served each day. Well done, you do a tremendous job.More

Stopped here for fuel as I was running very low got here at 8:50pm but all pumps were occupied with drivers all in shop . eventually got a empty pump at 9:03pm but it would not work .Guy came out and said they closed at...9pm and I couldn't get fuel .I explained to him I'd been waiting over 10mins on a space at a pump but he wasn't interested i also explained I probably wouldn't make it to next fuel station again he just shrugged his shoulders he wouldn't even tell me where next fuel station was so much for customer service and curtesy. I found his demeanour arrogant and his totally unwillingness to help not what I'm accustomed to and he probably should not be involved working with the public. Needless to say we ran out off fuel on a very dangerous stretch of road. my kids and I had to stand at side of road in the dark for over an hour and a half until someone managed to come out to us with fuel.More

Came here as a toilet stop and what a nightmare. The place was full of people and hence washrooms were overwhelmed. Gents was, according to hubby, clogged and horrible. Seriously. Clean the place

The cafe was busy, full tables outside, but inside not too bad. A huge queue for lunch, and our hearts sank. However, queue moved quickly and we ordered hot food, soup and macaroni. By the time we had paid, picked up our cutlery and sat...down, the food was on the table, piping hot and very good. Refillable glasses for soft drinks---it was superb. Pleasant friendly service and a smile under the masks.More
