We stopped here at random on our way to Oban. Its large roadside car park made up our mind but the place was really excellent. It caters for an all day trade ranging from breakfast through to dinner. Nice varied menu from snacks through to more formal meals. Our lunch was excellent . Full drinks licence too. Staff were brilliant.... More

Very friendly and accommodating. Being vegan they made a salad and mushrooms as we didn't want the bean burgers or vegan curry. My venison burger was lovely and we were sorely tempted by the lovely cakes on offer. Clean and cosy surrounding in a fabulous part of the world

Having previously stopped here for lunch which we enjoyed, decided to book an evening meal as were staying in the local area. The staff are very welcoming, were seated in the conservatory which is bright with lovely views over the hills, we had the Potato Wedges for starter, perfect portion size, for the main course I had Venison Patties with... A family of 8 of us visited for breakfast on our last day after staying in the area. It must be one of the best breakfasts that we've had in a long while. The traditional Scottish breakfast left us all feeling full and contented for a very reasonable price too. Something that other restaurants could do well to take notice... More

If you sit in the restaurant then the food served isn't too bad the takeaway food is absolutely terrible, at the weekend we ordered a few meals from the takeaway menu, the fish was tasteless and the steak pie was a joke, I had to take the supposed steak pie I was served in a foil dish with little more... Popped in here for a Coffee and a Latte on the way up to Oban . Nice clean friendly place , Quick service, Toilets were nice and clean . However the Latte was very tasteless, took it back and got another one . It was worse . I'm pretty sure it was made with powdered milk then frothed up a... More

Hi Lanabeth2002, Thanks for your feedback and all the positives. It was a shame that you did not like your Latte or its replacement and your slice of toffee loaf (£2.00 for all traybake items). Most of our customers do enjoy their visit, the food and the drinks that we serve. We make a point of asking if everything was... More

Passing by again, decided to stop this time. cold day and needed something warm. The owners had gotten into the halloween spirit and the place was decorated skeletons, coffins and cobwebs. Great stuff. Waited about five mins for the waitress who was very busy. Ordered and food arrived only five minutes later. I only tried the soup so do not... More
