We had dinner here with friends when we stayed at Cameron house. Good selection of seafood also great pizzas. One gripe I had was the service charge! We normally leave a tip but didn't due to this charge. This is Scotland not America.

I came here for lunch on Saturday. The first thing I noticed was they had put the prices up since the last time. However, the prices on the Boathouse menu in the hotel room were different - false advertising. My boyfriend ordered the carbonara pasta. This was pasta out the packet with a carbonara sauce which is the easiest thing... More

Comfortable , pleasant surroundings. Over priced for what we got ... it's a nice place and relaxing but food was not value for money . Lovely walk from hotel.

The food here is delicious but the staff can be a bit slow, although very friendly. The setting is lovely and I would return overall.

Started the afternoon off with some lovely cocktails in the bar. They were perfectly made. The followed a two course lunch in the restaurant. The food was delicious, the wine list was fantastic and the service was exceptional. Highly recommended. Will certainly be back, hopefully in the summer when the weather is better.

Went here for lunch recently for our wedding anniversary. Lovely setting, nice enough staff, but vastly overpriced for what you get. The food was nice but not fantastic. The antipasti platter starter was mediocre and surely could be served with freshly baked bread rather than cheap bread sticks?! We spent £20 on a chicken breast the size of my thumb... More

No complaints with service, it was perfect. Garlic bread & mussel bruschetta for starters beautiful. Duck main delicious. However, ribeye steak "blue" for the most part when asked for rare. Would have said something at the time, but had eaten a fair bit of it before getting to the inedible (for us) bit of steak. Desserts were a let down... More

Nice looking restaurant but we spent hours having dinner due to the lack of staff. Several things were aleady off the menu as they were finished and we felt it was very expensive for what we had.

Restuarant is walking distance from Cameron house hotel. More of a casual dinner with top class service. Menu was simple and the food was delicious. You won't regret it!

Restaurant made a good first impression, warm, cosy interior with a fireplace in the lobby. Exceptionally friendly, helpful service; without exception the staff were wonderful. Food decidedly average; the risotto was particularly salty and the other dishes were ok but significantly overpriced for the quality. However, what really struck us was that when another member of our party enquired about... More
