What a smashing wee tea room and craft centre. Very sliughtly off the beaten track but so easy to find. It is set in fantastic surroundings and the staff are so friendly and welcoming. Only stayed for coffees but well worth it. Big bonus - the dog was made very welcome too.

We stopped by here following a walk on a rainy day. The lady who served us was very friendly and they have lovely cakes. The much appreciated log fire was burning and very quaint.

We visited here with a large group of very wet walkers and were made very welcome. Plenty of space to put our dripping jackets before enjoying some very good home baking and gallons of freshly made tea and coffee. A great place to end a walk on the hills.

Excellent boeuf bourguignon dish, full of flavour, accompanied by local craft beer, and followed by ginger cake/fudge sauce. Good service and exceptional value.

Service was a little slow, soup was delicious! Free ice creams were offered to make up for it. Lovely craftwork on display, quirky cafe with plenty of space to sit. Great find off the beaten track.

We popped in to escape the rain whilst waiting for a concert at the Sunart Centre and had very tasty mushroom soup followed by oat and date slice and a delicious piece of Rocky Road which seemed to have been made with the best quality dark chocolate. I'm so glad that we discovered the place, which we found very welcoming... More

We wanted somewhere that was close to the guesthouse we had chosen. We ended up driving to the centre but could have easily have walked it. A really relaxed atmosphere where tables are mismatched with odd chairs and crockery. It is a craft centre by day so you can go and browse their merchandise or read magazines while you wait.... We visited on a rainy day after a walk nearby in need of a nice warm drink and the chance to dry off and we were very pleased with our choice. In a lovely wooded setting, we received a genuinely warm and friendly welcome from the lady hostess / owner and enjoyed coffee, hot chocolates and home-made tray bakes. Very... More

The food was pretty tasteless and the staff quite rude and unpleasant. We had a burger with a cold bun and some (apparently) warmed up lasagna.
