despite the staffing issues, which many places are experiencing, we really liked this bar set on the pier in Sleat on the south end of the Isle of Skye. A very cosy place with friendly staff

Called for lunch, sat outside taking in the stunning scenery. Butternut squash curry was delicious as were the venision burgers all served by a cheerful young gent. Hope to visit again soon.

Visited on Sunday 15th August for an evening meal. Lovely setting, interesting authentic traditional bar, food was okay but not exceptional. Disappointed given the reviews we’d seen before visiting.

Rough not rustic. Sent venison casserole back as there was 2 tiny pieces of meat, 2 half small potatoes & 3 pieces of carrot, all sauce for £15. Sent it back & came back looking like a completely different dish. Second dish however had fatty...meat & 2 huge roots, obviously from the root veg, what a bonus NOT! Avoid.More

Great spot with a lovely view out over the loch and next to a cute little fishing harbour to explore. The pub is very cosy and the food is delicious with a good selection of local fayre. Kids welcomed too

This little bar attached to the hotel was very friendly and welcoming. The bar staff were great and lovely to chat too. The food served at the bar came from the hotel restaurant was freshly cooked and delicious with generous portions. Spent many an enjoyable...evening here on our holiday. The building is interesting and the outside area had fantastic viewsMore

We had a lovely dinner here on our first night on Skye. All of our meals were freshly made (including kids menu) - a great way to be welcomed onto the island!

had lovely food in a gorgeous setting by the sea, if warm enough you could eat or drink outside. Could be busy though but with a one and half hour table policy if you wait you will get in

We received a warm welcome, being invited to their lounge while an internal table became available. Good atmosphere despite damp weather outside. Our scallops and quail were both delicious meals, and we shared a great sticky toffee pudding! Excellent service all round. Would be interesting...to eat outside on a sunny evening.More

We thoroughly enjoyed dining at this cosy pub with great ambiance particularly the Scottish rock background music. We received a warm welcome and thoughtful good service. Our quail and fresh scallops dishes were delicious as was the sticky toffee pudding with local ice-cream. A shame...that owing to poor weather we could not eat in the shore-side marquee as the setting and views are magnificent. Worth a detour however look out for signs for the Eilean Iarmain Hotel to find the turning off the main road. Ample parking.More

Hi there, we have dog friendly rooms available within the hotel and dogs are more than welcome in the pub but not during food hours. Lunch is served between 11-2:30 and dinner from 5:30 to 9pm. Thanks, Stewart.
