We started with sweet potato and black pepper soup. Which was fine, if rather heavy handed with the pepper. For mains we chose the fish... More

We came to The Lower Deck looking for fish and chips, but got so much more. I had a lovely hake dish, and my friends who did get fish and chips loved those too! Friendly service, good portions and value.

This was a nice place to eat while waiting for a boat ride. Staff were friendly and helpful. Calamari strips were great. Recommend.

I'd not say that it was the best dinner in Portree but if you are looking for a comfy and cheap dinner with a good beer this is just the right place! Fish was fresh and good. My husband was pretty happy with his fish and chips, crispy and tasty.

First night over at Portree and we needed food, so walking in we just about managed to get a table in this busy place. First night we had a great meal - we went back the next day and we had the best meal. Went for the halibut special on a whim (the special list was huge - they must... More

A popular, busy little restaurant. The food was very good and the staff were really friendly. I had the salmon, which was very good and my husband had the breaded monkfish, which was absolutely gorgeous. The sticky toffee pudding was also wonderful.

Thought the place looked unassuming from the street but we decided to gave it a try for dinner. Service was fast, efficient and friendly and food was excellent. We had soup of the day, steamed mussels, cod with cray fish and salmon and loved all the dishes we ordered. The food was presented in an unpretentious way but was delicious.... More
