This could easily be missed due to looking like your normal kebab van but the food here is as good as any fish & chip restaurant I've eaten from, everything cooked fresh for you while you wait & all at a good price

Yes, it's the famous les routiers commended caravan on Tobermory Pier, and yes the ambiance and location is fabulous, and the scallops are lovely, as is most of the sea food, the only led, down are the chips! they are frozen and although cooked well, they don't have the taste of proper chippy chips. Having said that, of you are in... More

The food was simple but delicious. We ate a fried cod with chips and sat by the clock tower at the harbour. There were a lot of customers, but we didn't have to wait long.

The Fish and Chip Van has existed for as long as I can remember and operates daily almost year round. Great food and excellent, friendly service.

When in any fishing port one must experience the local fish n chips! Fish was lovely and chunky, chips tasty and not oily. Good portions.

After a nice walk around the harbour and a couple of drinks at the distillery tour this is a must. Tasty and very fresh. Also great to support the small businesses that rely on tourism.

A lovely little van that sells spot-on fish and chips at a good price. We had cod and the smoked haddock special, which was a real treat, but you can also enjoy scallops, fish cakes, and all the usual fare. A simple delight, with an entertaining juvenile seagull in attendance that kept its distance until we'd finished. Whoops, did we... More

We came here for a fish and chip lunch. Really good, if it rains you're not going to be able to eat them anywhere sensible (unless you live locally) so wait till its dry, then sit on the monument, watch the world go by and make sure you don't feed the seagulls.
