Had a lovely meal only managed to eat half as so much food. From peking chicken to fried noodles just so tasty all of our meal.

Went in person to order with one vegetarian. Had lengthy talks about no meat or fish. Got to port charlotte to find chicken in the vegetarian meal. First and last try.
I hear he started this take away because family and friends liked his Chinese themed nights in his restaurant next door, and tbh it shows. The Chow mein was stodgy and the meat terrible. Spring rolls greasy and salt&pepper chips absolute sub standard. I only...came for the whisky festival so thank Christ it's not my local eatery..More
A great evening of Asian food from Ellen's wok. We kept walking past and reading the menu and decided to go for it on our last evening in Port Ellen. We really enjoyed the meal and wish we had not waited till last evening.
Great Chinese cooking meal , fast . Taste. Highly recommend if come to islay . Also is addition food choices.
Excellent takeaway, as good as any I have ever had. Veg spring rolls amazing, all three mains finished
Didn’t have high hopes, but food was really good. Only ordered 3 things: salt and pepper squid - addictively fab, melt-in-mouth squid, light batter and just-right spicing. If I lived here, this would be my go-to dish. We also had Kung Po Chicken and plain...chow mien. Both of these were pleasant, not greasy and were obviously freshly cooked.More
We ordered salt and pepper beef, fried rice, fried noodles and chicken fried rice with some sweet and sour sauce from here this week to eat in our holiday cottage. Food was ready when they said it would be and we really enjoyed the meal,...no complaints.More
Couldnt get in to any pub or restaurant in Port Ellen at Easter weekend so opted for the takeaway chinese . The salt and pepper beef was like deep fried shoe leather. It was so tough and totally tasteless I just gave up and binned...it. And it was about twice the price of a main meal with rice that I would pay in Glasgow. I expect it to be more expensive on the island but not double and such poor quality. A lesson learned - next time book one of the restaurants in plenty time!!More
