Was visiting Tain on business three time recently, had an early start, no breakfast and some time to spare. Found this centrally located cafe and enojyed a very tasty snack breakfast accompanied by good coffee. Staff were friendly and efficient, service was quick, the atmosphere was pleasant and relaxing. As Tain is located a very short distance off the A9... More

This cafe was lovely, staff friendly great choice and reasonably priced. I haven't been to such a nice cafe in years. If all cafes were as nice as this, the tourist industry in this country would be having full marks all the time. The toilet was very clean and suitable for disabled.

Stopped for rest and spotted this little non-chain cafe. Clean, pleasant cafe serving tea, coffee, snacks. Ordered a pot of tea which, whilst a little weak by my standards, was hot and refreshing. Also had a toasted tea cake which with the home made jam was truly delicious! Odd thing was, for such a small cafe (seats max of about... More

Right in the middle of Tain. Good selection for a small outlet. Bright and cheery atmosphere. Excellent value for money. Staff attentive and efficient. Avoid the table in front of the plate glass window which gets VERY hot on a sunny day (a note on the table warns customers of this)

Regular stop for a coffee and bacon roll. Coffee is good, rolls are awesome. Large roll with loads of bacon in it, throw in a slice of black pudding to make it even better. Staff are friendly and never rush you. Good selection of newspapers to pass a morning

We visited recently for a light lunch of soup and cakes. Quality of food was very good with good portion sizes. Competitive pricing and friendly staff. Cash only venue. Recommended

Noisey and grubby. I ordered a cooked breakfast from a disinterested waitress and got a plate of the usual stuff. All poor quality and all overcooked. Never again

Popped in on a hit and miss weather day. 3 double tables, 4 four tables, and 3 window seats. Most were taken when I walked in and all when I left. Had my usual cafe treat, hot chocolate and a scone. They offer white, milk or dark hot chocolate which I've never seen before. I tried the dark, and it... More
