We returned after 2 years to stay at Wildside next to Whitebridge. We were really looking forward to visiting this lovely pub after so many great visits previously. Unfortunately the food was no way near as good as our previous stay. We ate here 3 times in our week stay. The soup was delicious I must say but anything else... More

We ate here one evening as we were saying near-by at self catering lodges so instead of making dinner visited the Whitebridge Hotel. Staff were friendly. I had calamari to start with and the wife had the garlic mushrooms, both were nice enough but I think both had been frozen. The venison burger with haggis on it was really good... More

Nice pub with good food and big portions. Staff were friendly and best of all the dog could come too. Would go again.

We visited the whitebridge hotel in October. On our first night we went in for a meal we had our dog with us who is unsure of other dogs so we were able to sit through in a quieter area. The men at the table enjoyed a few of the local beers and really enjoyed happy chappy. I found out... More

Stayed at the Wildside Lodges only about 200 m from hotel. Very friendly staff and food was great. Not shy with the portions either. Try the fish (half a whale more like!!) very fresh and very tasty. Great wee find.

This little place is on the opposite side of the loch from the main road so you have to go looking for it. It's closer to Fort Augustus than Inverness. Although the building looked a bit tired from the outside and a bit dull and dark on the inside, the staff and the food soon made us feel welcome and... More

Called in earlier in the day to book a table for two, asked for a table in the restaurant by the window, and mentioned it was our wedding anniversary. When we arrived for dinner we had a complimentary bottle of presseco waiting for us at the table. Staff were brilliant and food fantastic.
