Stopped here for a quick bite heading through Fort Augustus after a long day's driving. It looked very busy which was reassuring but we were sat in the bar and had a great meal. Balmoral chicken with haggis and whisky sauce was fab and my...More

Had lunch here, haggis starter was distusting! Cheap mushy Haggis, complained about it and was told that it’s better than a chip shops! Chicken burger had no mayo or butter, very dry and cheap roll. Staff very unhelpful and rude. Will never go back. Feel...More

The atmosphere is small-town and the portions are large. Fort Augustus is a small place and the restaurants fill quickly so make a reservation if you have the time. We didn't, but found a table anyway. The atmosphere is casual and relaxed.

Food and service were ok, nothing to rave about and not much to complain about. Service was friendly and efficient.

Only had lunch in outer room. Service was fast, friendly. Inner room has better decor. Sandwiches were tasty on fresh rolls. Reasonably priced.

We visited the bothy while staying in Fort Augustus. We found the staff to be friendly and the food to be very good. A selection of a couple of real ales too. The Balmoral chicken was excellent, chicken stuffed with haggis, served with a whisky...More

Popped in when passing and was found a table. Waitress was abrupt and not particularly friendly. Food came extremely quickly which suggested it hadn’t been freshly cooked. One of our party had salmon which was cool in the middle but hot on the edges and...More

Sorry I don't know, but would be surprised if they didn't as all the places to eat were open on the Sunday we were there. Hope this helps
