We'd heard of the pottery and tea room and we were not disappointed. If you like walking, then this is ideal for you. We arrived, had tea and biscuits and headed along the path up the mountain, might be a hill, but looks like a...More

So glad you enjoyed the Clay Works and the mountain (don't listen to the Munro pundits!) We look forward to slicing you more cake in the future! best wishes, Rebekah and Joss

Some friends and I stumbled upon this unique little pottery tearoom and were welcomed by the cheery and charming Joss who gave us fantastic coffee, tea and cakes as well as showing us around the pottery workshop & providing info about the pottery process. V...More

nestled into the hilltop overlooking Loch Ness a beautiful hidden treasure. Rachel is an exquisite potter and her works are beautiful, original and make wonderful gifts. I head up there overtime I am back in Scotland!

Lovely guy and very welcoming but not what we expected. Road wasn't the best up to it but comedic roads signs were entertaining. Very little to see on arrival.

I came here upon the recommendation of a friend. It really is off the beaten track, of about 5 miles on a narrow track on the top of a massive hill with the Loch Ness looking small from below. We finally got there and there...More

I'm glad you enjoyed your visit. You're quite right. The cafe was opened really for those on the Great Glen Way and those who climb our adjacent mountain - we don't otherwise advertise it. We are not a pit stop for the A82, but all...More

We visited here today after seeing lovely reviews on TripAdvisor, unfortunately we did not experience the same. We parked at the start of the path to the pottery works as it looked narrow. After walking up we wandered into the pottery works where we stood...More

What a ghastly experience. I will speak sternly to our pekingese Jack - he's only trained to bite little boys. But seriously, I'm sorry you felt ignored but a shout would probably have done the trick.

We saw a sign for pottery and after what felt like several miles on thin windy road we came across the end of the road and a wonderful world of pottery. Which unfortunately was closed due to refurbishment but the owner was very very kind...More

We saw the many many signs on our way to the top of Meallfuarvonie, and thought to visit for a cuppa upon our return. The whole place is gorgeously quaint and eclectic! The front is surrounded by wildflowers. We were welcomed by a polite gentleman...More
