First time to Stags after hearing lots about it. Good food, great service and a lovely & unique wee restaurant. Will definitely be back.

I've been trying to get into this restaurant for over a year now.....either it's full or closed for the season. Last evening....success. It's a small family run business with Senor Pisano in the kitchen and his wife front of house. Customer service pretty slick and attentive. Food good quality, well presented and generous portions. Prices represent very good value for... More

Good choice, busy. Good value. Staff friendly. Everyone went early we were last in restaurant at 10pm. Early October so nearing end of summer season. Good position could hear stags on the golf course. No license so take your own booze.

Have been in Arran many times and have driven past this hidden gem many times without knowing it was there! We stopped for lunch and were not disappointed. All the staff were warm and welcoming and very friendly and the food was excellent. Small and cosy with a lovely wee garden to look out over with the added bonus of... More

As there is limited choice for eating in such a small place, it was very pleasing to come across a small friendly, relaxed and informal atmosphere. The cooking is all home made and is generous in portion size, so be aware! There is no alcohol licence apart from bring your own - and they don't charge corkage. Specials are put... More

We always eat here when visiting Arran. The food is excellent as is the service, and all for a very modest price. In our opinion this is the best restaurant on the island

It was one of the best meals I´ve had in the UK. Even they had just closed the kitchen when we got there, they still cooked for us, thank you for that!

We (party of 6) were staying on the caravan site adjacent to this restaurant and managed to get to eat here twice during our stay ( booking essential) . The food both times was scrummy and the staff were friendly and informative. A definite must if staying on the island.

Thank Sara S
