Scottish Tapas in Arran. Interesting, albeit, I was disappointed by the food. We confused the waiter by asking for the salmon and cheeses to be brought first as a starter, with nothing else to be brought till it was finished. The look we got! The "main" consisted of the butchers plate.... the dog must be huge as it ate the... More

Visited for dinner last night. Each individual dish was excellent but all of our dishes arrived in very quick succession. This resulted in dishes cooling down before we could get to them! Cold Scottish plater arrived at the same time as duck fat chunky chips, closely followed by buckfast beef pie, creamy ravioli then beef platter. All of the food... More

Arrived late in Thursday decided just to eat in hotel fancied the tapas and had good reviews on here. We loved it. Staff were lovely and food was good. The cheese platter £8 ish is good value - if you get the meat platter £16 - it has all the meat in the dish so you don't need to buy... More

Meant to write this review earlier. Friends and I stayed at Auchrannie and ate here on 2nd Jan. Cocktails served by the fire. Order taken whilst there so food food delivered promptly when shown through to restaurant. Beautiful setting and place settings (loved the plates!). Service efficient, warm and very friendly. By all staff who attended to us but, Gail... More

Had a meal here recently some of the dishes were lovely-the prawns, the smoked haddock risotto, the Scottish platter. But some didn't quite hit the spot, I thought the black pudding in the mac & black totally overwhelmed the dish, the stovies were a bit strange but tasty. The staff were without exception all very pleasant, chatty and informative about... More

Ate as a family. Meal was beautiful. So much variety in the "scottish tapas' and incredibly tasty. Especially loved the scallops and the trio of desserts. Staff were fantastic too. Very friendly and accommodating.

Had dinner here and will definitely be back. The choice and variety was excellent, the service fantastic but the chefs were the best. Compliments to the head chef, he has a fabulous team.

My partner and I were staying at the resort for one night and had dinner in eighteen69. We were blown away with the beautiful food, wine and excellent service from Gail, our waitress. Not only was she attentive and helpful with the menu, I watched her serving the table next to us with two young children and she was amazing... More

Lovely spot and atmosphere, the drinks list is great. To add to the experience the service and banter from the barman James was 5 star, Thanks.

This restaurant came recommended by both tripadvisor and locals. The staff were extremely attentive, friendly and service was superb. However the food was very average after and initial good start. Most disappointing was the mac and black - greasy, smoked haddock kedgeree which was tasteless and the twice cooked chips were soggy.

Thank Jonny M
