We are a bit spoiled for choice in the East Neuk with so many fine restaurants. We constantly debate which is best, however, after my last meal at the Cellar I have decided this is the one for me. The service is relaxed and friendly...More

A true gem. Service, front house flawlessly managed. People are warm and welcoming. Lovely appointed small dining room. The series of tasting menu plates were a true, well coordinated symphony. Flavors and presentation made for a special evening and respite from golf trip pub food....More

We were desperate to return to our favourite Fife restaurant. We were not disappointed in any way. As it was a summer Saturday night, the Cellar was very busy and eventually full but there was no rush, no pressure, no mistakes - just the usual...More

Small unique Scottish Restaurant tucked away just off the main street in Anstruther. A historic little restaurant in the heart of the East Neuk. Was once used as a store by fishermen for there fishing nets. And also used as a smokehouse and cooperage. It was converted into a Restaurant over 40 years ago, and is now owned by local Chef Billy Boyter and his family. The Restaurant also has a small bar selling locally produced beer and a good selection of Scottish Gins and Whiskies.
