Having read previous posts we were very apprehensive but because one of our party has been numerous times before we decided to go . On arrival we were warmly greeted , the staff were very attentive but not pushy . The food was very good , one of our party has a small appetite and ordered a fish cake starter... More

If you dont want to get excited this is the place for you, just dont buy a pint or order any food. The trouble is we all like to visit a pub to have a drink and maybe enjoy a decent plate of pub grub at a reasonable price. We all also know that a lot of people who used... More

A winters day walk started with Sunday lunch at the Silent Woman in Wareham Forest. Friendly welcoming staff, large varied menu with additional board of specials. The Roast dinner was excellent and included a sweet. Cosy pub with a lovely ambiance and no children allowed inside which was a bonus as we usually don't eat out on a Sunday as... More

We were a little apprehensive following several adverse reports, however, our visit went very well. There was good food, good service and good beer !

Long walk through wareham forest arrived within drinking time - gagging for a drink as it was a hot day. were refused to be served as last orders had been called at 2.30 pm in the afternoon - lovely place - if they want to stay open need to be more flexable

Having popped in just before they finished serving lunch,we were greeted with a smile and warm welcome. They didn't look at the clock and say they were closing the kitchen , they took our order and served us with freshly cooked food which was delicious. I would highly recommend visiting and enjoying a supereb selection of food.

Staying at Hunters Moon caravan park and went here for an evening meal. Had a 14yr old with us. The food and the service was really good. Couldn't fault it.

Lovely location, and quite a cosy pub. Unfortunately I witnessed an altercation between a member of the public(who was being calm ) and the landlord. Landlord was very offensive and lost his temper.Nasty. I will certainly not visit this place again.

This establishment came highly recommended at the place where we were staying. Went for an evening meal and had the best curry I'd eaten in a long, long time. Plenty of other choices on the menu so something to please everybody.

With 9 other friends celebrating 4 birthdays with a total of 267 years. We were stating at Hunters Moon Caravan Park so we could all go to the restaurant. Very welcoming, food choice very varied, all well presented.

Thank Rosemary T
