We visited here with friends today - and had a great meal. Both the men in the party had the steak and kidney suet pudding and were not disappointed at all. As some have said, it is perhaps not the cheapest lunch menu around, but...More

Superb steak and mushroom shortcrust pies, tasty dauphinoise potatoes. Reasonable veggie burger. Decent beer. Reasonably priced and food quick to arrive, service friendly. Don't think the menu has changed since we went there last year.

Wow, we have just eaten the perfect suet pastry steak and kidney pudding, with fresh veg and great chips. A great menu, hard to choose. Portions are large, so glad we did not have a starter. Friendly and efficient service too. Great, we will return.

I am always saddened when I read a poor review of my pub. I like to think I along with all of my staff are always welcoming and friendly. As you say at the time we had a problem with our computer system and I...More
