The Salt Pig catered for my Hen do on Saturday night, we were glamping just outside Corfe Castle and they provided us with an incredible three course meal. We were given a selection of about 5 starters and 3 desserts and a Veggie BBQ for our main. The food was incredibly good - some of the best food I have... More

Asa local, the salt pig is on my regular visit list. Perfect for lunch or a coffee. All produce is locally sourced and the owner rears his own pigs which he provides to the restaurant. The theme is rustic and apart from the great food, you will get great service. Looking forward to The Salt Pig in Swanage opening soon

Dropped in here for brekky with my family. Very friendly staff and chilled atmosphere. A tasty breakfast was served, using quality local produce. Great coffee too. Not cheap - but you pay for quality. Will return.

The food here is undeniably fabulous, however in terms of customer service it is dreadful, if only they got themselves organised it would be a wonderful experience instead of a stressful one. You wait forever to be served and far too long for food to arrive - It is just utter chaos - watch they charge you for the correct... More

On a day out we decided to visit the salt pig to get a picnic to have along the river. Ordered the lamb and mint sandwiches on home made bread - quite simply amazing!!! We also ordered a cheese pastry and real lemonade. All the food was delicious. Lovely place serving yummy and unusual food, also had a butchers and... More

This is our third visit to the Salt Pig (as we don't live locally). This time we were disappointed. The food was very tasty, as always, but the portion size was much smaller than previously and WOT - no Pork !! (Lamb, Beef or Gammon on offer)

I stopped off here for a late lunch on a Monday afternoon, and had probably the tastiest quiche I've ever sampled! The lady who served me was very friendly and efficient. I could tell the food was really fresh, and the flavours were amazing. The quiche was warm and the two sides were cold salads, so it was a nice... More

First visit on Saturday, even though we've lived in the town for 3 years. We both had the full English - it was really tasty, great quality ingredients. Fantastic service with friendly staff. Will definitely be back soon!
